Electric Spring (ES) in the power system can effectively alleviate the indirectness and randomness of new energy generation to the power grid. At present, there are few studies on development and experimental research of three-phase Electric Spring (3ph-ES) device. In this paper, the research and development of three-phase Electric Spring device are carried out. Firstly, the three-phase Electric Spring device and the main circuit parameters are designed based on the physical constraints and experimental goals. Secondly, a three-phase Electric Spring voltage stabilization control strategy based on PI control is proposed, and are verified by PSCAD / EMTDC platform simulation. Finally, a two-chip processing controller based on FPGA + DSP has established a three-phase Electric Spring experimental platform with a voltage level of 380V. The experimental results show that the designed three-phase Electric Spring device can effectively alleviate the voltage fluctuation. It provides a reference for the engineering application of three-phase Electric Spring.
