As the information security of the power system is gaining more and more concerned, the cyber physical system and the power system has been researched as a whole object, that is, the power cyber physical system (PCPS). The most direct and effective research method is to carry out interactive simulation of communication information flow and power flow. Therefore, PCPS simulation tools have become a necessary support for CPS research. In this paper, the CPS simulation platform based on ADPSS (the Advanced Digital Power Simulator) was researched and developed. This paper introduces the overall architecture of the CPS simulation platform, and elaborates the key technologies of the implementation, revealing the operation mechanism of the power CPS simulation platform that can accurately simulate the interaction between power flow and communication flow. Finally, CPS simulations applying real power grid data based the platform are carried out. The results show that the platform can accurately meet the needs of PCPS research.
