The rectangular microstrip antenna is designed for resonating frequency 1.5 GHz and simulated using IE3D software. Analysis of variation of substrate thickness and permittivity is presented in the work. It is observed that as 'h' increases resonance frequency decreases, increase in inductance of probe increases bandwidth (BW) of antenna. With decrease in permittivity of substrate BW increases and resonance frequency increases.
