Most fixed mobile convergence solutions to date have focused on narrowband voice applications and service delivery. In a world that is moving more and more towards broadband, this paper considers the requirements that broadband multimedia applications present to both the radio interface and the network and summarises the technology and architectures that will enable broadband converged mobility services to be delivered to the market.
