Authenticity plays a vital role in any recognition system. Iris recognition is one of the most reliable and secure recognition system across the globe. Iris is composed of color muscles and has unique pattern like DNA. Iris is a protected internal organ whose random texture is stable throughout life, it can serve as a kind of living passport or a living password that one need not remember but can always present. The aim of this paper is to identify a human being through Color Iris Recognition System (CIRS). We can implement this system in controlled environment to recognize and authenticate any human being. It is a system of biometric authentication that uses pattern recognition techniques based on highresolution images of the iris of an individual's eye. During testing different sections of iris are used for recognition, after that Union/ intersection of segmented iris images generates unique code for recognition from previously saved images in the database. That code is matched with saved images and proved the accuracy of the system. CIRS provides unique security by combining computer vision, mathematics, optics and pattern recognition. It provides real-time, high confidence recognition of a person's identity using mathematical analysis of the random patterns that are visible within the iris of an eye.
