This paper presents a scheme for an intellectualized wireless personal area network (WPAN) based on a simplified ad hoc on-demand distance vector routing (AODVjr) and IEEE 802.15.4 technologies. The design of the network focuses on improving performance in adaptive routing and flexible management. The experimental data show that the network is robust and reliable in practical applications.
