The objective of this paper is to present hard-coupled field- circuit analysis. The rationale for this approach is the need to model electromagnetic device combined with electronic circuit in many practical issues. The general field-circuit formulation for electromagnetic device driven by circuit of arbitrary topology is presented. The method to couple magnetic vector potential formulations with mesh current method is proposed. The models for linear lumped elements as well as general interface to include nonlinear lumped element are also described.
