This paper presents a novel method of calculating the cost function during heuristic searches. In this paper, using a novel cost function, the number of iterations during the search for dual-band antennas is reduced. The method is effective in obtaining a better result and in reducing the optimization time. Additionally when intelligent design aids are proposed, this method can be used to store wideband and dual band antenna characteristics.
