A scheme for tuning controllers based on Indirect Self Control (ISC) for induction machines is presented. It is shown that the closed loop system can be approximated by a simple linear system, where the controller parameters can be directly expressed in terms of motor data and performance requirements. The results are verified through simulations and power lab measurements.
