Because a large-scale hydroelectric power station simulator in the authors' laboratory has a special functional requirement that all simulation be generating sets oriented, generating processes oriented and whole zone station oriented, modeling of a large scale hydropower station has other characteristics in addition to general simulator modeling characteristics. The authors have used an object-oriented methodology in modeling this large-scale hydropower station and have obtained satisfactory results in some degree. The architecture of modeling for this simulator is presented in this paper.
