The paper describes a chirpsounder receiver system which monitors two skywave paths concurrently. The resultant data provides two real-time ionograms, each showing the oblique path profiles from separated proprietary chirpsounders. The hardware utilises digital signal processing (DSP) techniques based upon a plug-in PC card, and a standard radio receiver. The system performance is comparable with previous results using a single sounding source, thus making the system suitable as an element of a HF frequency management system.
