The article reports the results on the study of the interactions between a mini-trench and the existing road pavement as the following conditions change: type of road pavement, position of the mini-trench, filling materials of the mini-trench. The thermal effects are also analyzed on the minitrench/road paving system and the variations in the drainage parameters of the road due to the presence of the minitrench.
