The vibration from the wind or electromagnetic effect causes the flexible of the bolts frequently, which leads to the increase of the contact resistance between the clamps, and further results in the heating of the clamp. In this paper, a NiTi shape memory alloy dish gasket was prepared to replace the ordinary elastic washer, which could prevent the heating of the clamp effectively. The recovery force test of the NiTi shape memory alloy disc gasket indicates that the recovery force of the NiTi memory alloy disc gasket increases with the increase of temperature. The M12 gasket can supply a recovery force as high as 4.09 kN at 100 °C, and the M16 gasket can supply a recovery force as high as 5.89 kN at 100 °C. The loop resistance tests of the clamp which installed with the NiTi memory alloy disc gasket indicates that the contact resistance between the clamps could be reduced effectively by the memory alloy gasket under the condition of nut looseness.
