On the analysis of the characteristics of the sample from the oil field, experiments are carried out through hydrocyclone on the sample with different concentration of the solid phase, liquid contents and temperature, flow rate in the laboratory. The results show that the hydrocyclone can be of great value to the cleaning of sand and recycling of oil and sludge by reducing the liquid content in the sand to be fewer than 1% which is far below the national standard 3%. The adoption of the hydrocyclone can do great favors to the reutilization of the useful liquid and the protection of the environment, which can also make certain social profit.
