To treat oily wastewater with energy saving, low cost and easy operation, a micro-bubble flotation experiment device that can be used indoor is developed. By making a classification of the flotation according to the way of producing micro-bubbles and then analyzing the characteristics of various air flotation devices, the micropore manufactured by laser directly bubbling technique is adopted in micro-bubble flotation experiment device. And the performance of the experiment device for the treatment of oily wastewater was tested. Experimental results prove that the flotation device has high reliability, strong adaptability, easy assembling and oil removal efficiency can reach above 90% under the optimum operation parameters. The micro-bubble flotation experiment device simplifies the bubbling process to study the influence factors of air flotation oil removal efficiency in laboratory, and lays a foundation for the engineering application of micro-bubble flotation oil removal.
