The technology of Microbial enhanced oil recovery (known as MEOR) has received much concern in recent years and rapid development because of its many advantages. Studies showed that the bacteria could degrade the light component of crude oil preferentially, resulting in the worse rheological characteristic and more difficulty to exploit of crude oil. Focusing on the key problem, this paper studied on a new method using the synergy of an organic matter in the process of microbial flooding that could promote the degradation efficiency of heavy component of crude oil from bacteria by increasing the dissolution of heavy component. With the synergy of additive organic compound, the relative proportion of saturated hydrocarbon has been changed and that of ΣnC21^-/ΣnC22⁺ reached up to 39.06% which lead to the forward transference of the peak value distribution curve of hydrocarbon component. Meanwhile, the degradation rate of heavy component of crude oil has been achieved 67.9% and the rheological property altered obviously, the viscosity of crude oil reduced from 124mP·s to 40mP·s. The result of physical simulation displacement test showed that the efficiency of MEOR could be improved 9.72% by using the technology of additive agents and a pilot field test of MEOR has been carried out in ChaoYanggou reservoir in Daqing Oilfield. The field test has given a good effect of increasing oil production and decreasing water cut whose accumulative enhanced oil production was more than 40 thousand tons.
