This work presents a simulation study of Back Contact-Back Junction solar cells (BC-BJ) with emitter double contact. We report that the addition of a second contact line can significantly improve the efficiency of this kind of solar cells for long emitters. The performance of BC-BJ solar cells with emitter double contact is investigated as a function of the emitter contacts' position and the metallization fraction.
