This project is strictly related to the Smart Grid (SG) development and dedicated to the issue of local energy management with possibly high saturation of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and different levels of availability of smart appliances at homes. Different aspects of this issue are addressed by the project, i.e., the proposed technical solution is accompanied by research on legal, social and economic aspects. The proposed solution aims at achieving the goal of increasing the efficiency of the energy grid by balancing energy generation and consumption in energy efficient smart neighbourhoods. Additionally, the increased grid monitoring and control means allow increasing the reliability of the energy system. %T How to balance the energy production and consumption in energy efficient smart neighbourhood %B IET Conference Proceedings %D January 2014 %P 33 (8 pp.)-33 (8 pp.) %I Institution of Engineering and Technology %U https://digital-library.theiet.org/;jsessionid=55j2n478dh7ui.x-iet-live-01content/conferences/10.1049/cp.2014.1666 %G EN
