Two given curves can be blended to produce a new curve between the prescribed curves, blending method provide a transition from one curve to another and can give different degrees of smoothness at the endpoints of the blends. The methods of blending two parametric curves on the sphere are presented in this paper. First, we construct a space curve blending with the prescribed curves on the sphere by choosing appropriate polynomials functions. The expectant blending curves are achieved by projected onto the unit sphere along the radial direction. C0, C1, C2 curves blending formulas on the sphere are proposed respectively, Corresponding curve blending experimental results are also showed.
