To evaluate the performance of optical burst switching network accurately, a computation on blocking probability of core nodes is conducted based on the time-slot analytical method, when no buffer and converter is applied. Numerical results show that, the proposed analytical model is more accurate on the blocking probability than the M/M/1/1 model, and the mean deviation with the simulation results is about 7% in all traffic states.
