The IET Control Engineering series focuses on publishing quality books from all areas where control technology plays a significant role. Our objective is to publish new perspectives and developments on decision and control with industrial applications in a timely fashion to facilitate their transition to engineering practice.

New developments such as systems biology, networked sensing, decision making and control, cyber physical systems, multi-agent system and control, and modelling are encouraged together with traditional topics such as autonomous systems, intelligent control and all areas of feedback control. New industrial applications are particularly welcomed.

The series aims at publishing books that feature some of the following:

  • New theoretical developments with relevant industrial applications
  • Analysis and design methods of feedback control
  • New unified perspectives and challenges on existing control techniques in a more rigorous manner
  • Appealing books and reference books presenting theory and techniques that are fundamental to researchers, students, and professionals.
