Abstract

The effects of transferred lightning surges on loads connected in long branched low-voltage power distribution networks are evaluated by means of computational simulations. Sensitivity analyses are presented to indicate the role of several parameters in the development of transferred surges. Based on the obtained results, remarks are made regarding load protection.
