Abstract

The inductor current of a current mode controlled ZVS half bridge pulse width modulation (PWM) converter contains high-frequency components. The low-frequency model of the converter, however, cannot predict the high-frequency components. The output voltage equation for the ZVS half-bridge PWM converter is derived from the steady-state analysis, and the sampling gain presented in the current control loop is investigated to improve the prediction performance of the low-frequency model of a ZVS half-bridge PWM converter.
