The control strategy of the FT-FSPM motor is proposed for torque ripple minimisation, in which the key is to introduce harmonic currents to compensate for non-ideal sinusoidal back-electromotive force (EMF). Both simulation and experimental results confirm that the proposed control algorithms can reduce torque ripple and offer good dynamic performance under normal and fault conditions. Hence, it can be concluded that the developed motor drive system is suitable for applications where reliability, efficiency and power density are of importance in such applications as electric and hybrid electric vehicles.}, title = {Control and operation of fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent-magnet motor drive with second harmonic current injection}, journal = {IET Electric Power Applications}, issue = {9}, volume = {6}, year = {2012}, month = {November}, pages = {707-715(8)}, publisher ={Institution of Engineering and Technology}, copyright = {© The Institution of Engineering and Technology}, url = {https://digital-library.theiet.org/;jsessionid=2b0n7lbgdtnhb.x-iet-live-01content/journals/10.1049/iet-epa.2011.0144} }
