A new FDTD method with weakly conditionally stability is presented. The time step in this method is only determined by one space discretisation. Because the split error in this method is proportional to the time step, not the square of the time step, the accuracy of the proposed technique is better than that of the ADI-FDTD method, this being demonstrated by numerical examples.
