A wavelength conversion module for 3.4 µm difference frequency generation employing the V-groove connection technique has been fabricated. Using a 1.064 µm pump and a 1.55 µm band signal, an external conversion efficiency of 9.7%/W was obtained. The fabricated module exhibits a high output power of up to 3 mW.
