The representation of 3-D moving objects demands fast graphic engines. Algorithms leading to fast and integrable circuits are needed. Bresenham's algorithm is modified to work on a half-plane and to be implemented with an 8-bit gate array slice. This hardware solution, which has been built and tested in a prototype 3-D graphic system, is also illustrated.
