The letter describes preliminary results on Schottky diode mixers at 10.6 μm. We observed the beat note between two CO2 radiation lasers. The detection dependence is reported with respect to the directivity and the d.c.bias. A sensitivity of 1 V/W was obtained at 10.6 μm.
