Field-strength measurements in resonant cavities by perturbation theory
New theoretical aspects of Slater and Maier's method for field-strength measurements in resonant cavities, which is based on the resonance frequency shift caused by the insertion of small perturbing bodies, have been investigated. The possibility of using a small metallic ring is also considered.
