Envelope frequency response of networks subjected to a suppressed carrier modulated input wave
The contribution of the upper and lower sidebands of a suppressed carrier modulated signal to the output of a general network is examined. The envelope of the output is shown to be simply derived from graphical transformations of the frequency-response locus on the complex plane.
