This paper presents an improved method for electromagnetic analysis over a wide frequency band. The approach involves extracting from the unknown current amplitudes information easily obtained from an asymptotic solution, leaving a smoothly varying residual which can be efficiently approximated using a low order approximant. In addition a modified moment-matching technique was presented for the formation of rational function approximants. Numerical results have confirmed the validity and efficacy of the approach.
