On Saturday, 6th June 1942, Blumlein and his senior staff met Dee, Lovell, Curran, O'Kane and Squadron Leader E.C. Sansom (a specialist navigation officer who had been at Bomber Command Headquarters but who, now, from 28th May 1942, was stationed at TRE, Defford) for talks on points relating to the prototype H2S equipment.
