This chapter is devoted to the study of resonance effects observed in the diffraction frequency domain when various gratings are excited by plane waves. Establishing a reliable qualitative appropriateness in this frequency range is possible only on the basis of a big volume of numerical data which have been obtained within the frames of semi-inversion numeric-analytical models and approaches.

Inspec keywords: diffraction gratings; numerical analysis; light scattering

Other keywords: semiinversion numeric-analytical models; diffraction gratings; stationary resonance wave scattering; plane waves; diffraction frequency domain

Subjects: Gratings, echelles
