Artificial neural networks can be used as a representation framework for modelling nonlinear dynamical systems. It is also possible to incorporate these nonlinear models within nonlinear feedback control structures. Several possibilities for modelling and control of nonlinear dynamical systems are studied in this chapter. We present case studies illustrating the application of these techniques.
